There are a few resources out there for English computing with a dual environment,
BUT a lot of the information is a little dated (which is not my fault). For you beginners
out there, much will seem technical.
- From the University of Washington Technical Japanese Program, this is full
of information. According to the main page, it was last updated on 11/15/99.
It contains both Mac and DOS/Windows info.

and covers mostly Windows 95 and 3.1 solutions. Other topics include: Using

Computing Clubs and User Groups
- TLUG (Tokyo Linux Users Group) From their home page "TLUG is
a nonprofit users group whose members exchange information on the
development and use of the Linux kernel and Free Software Foundation
tools." TLUG's also has a mailing list.
- NIPCC
(Nagoya International PC Club) This is Nagoya's own PC club. If you are doing
the PC thing in Japan, this is a must! It has meetings and tours of computer stores in
Nagoya's Ohsu area (including GoodWill).
